Parent / Student / Teacher Advisory Council (PSTAC)

Windsor High’s PSTAC meets at least quarterly to discuss, advise and make recommendations to the principal regarding school progress, assessing and prioritizing needs, identifying resources, school spending, our School Unified Improvement Plan (SUIP), etc. At least two members of our PSTAC also serve as the WHS representative and alternate representative to advocate for WHS on the District Advisory Committee (DAC) which meets from 4 – 5:30 p.m. at the Weld Re-4 School District Office, 1020 Main St., Windsor.

PSTAC Membership

A minimum of 7 members to include:

  • 4 parents/legal guardians of students (at least 1 parent also serves as our DAC rep. & co-chairs the committee w/ Dr. Dodd)
  • 1 community member
  • 1 teacher
  • 1 principal

After Prom Committee

The mission of the After Prom Committee is to provide a safe and fun environment where students can gather to enjoy games, food, and entertainment immediately following Prom. All juniors, seniors, and approved guests are invited to After Prom.  Students do not have to attend Prom in order to participate in After Prom.

School Advisory Council (SAC)

Members of the School Advisory Council are asked to serve as an advisory board to the school.  This group will make recommendations to the principal concerning school budget, student achievement, and overall functioning of the school. This group meets on a quarterly basis. If you would like to be involved, please contact the school office.

District Accountability Committee (DAC)

Hollister Lake will provide parent representation to the District Accountability Committee. This group meets to address specific agenda items directed by the Weld RE-4 School District Board of Education. The committee is advisory in nature and will give participants knowledge and understanding of the entire school district. Learn more about the DAC.
